Cue the spooky Vincent Price voice......mwahahaha. Nah, how about the Monster Mash? Better yet......just cut to the super cute, really easy Halloween earrings?

Well alrighty then! Can't get much cuter or easier :)

Use your paper punches or draw freehand and let your imagination take over!

Spiders, ghosts and eyeballs. Oh, my!

What You'll Need :

  • Cereal box or other thin cardboard package
  • Cardstock in colors of your choice
  • Paper punches or drawn images
  • Clear drying adhesive (gel medium, school glue, mod podge, etc.)
  • Sharpie or other alcohol markers
  • Glitter, googly eyes, beads (optional, but why not)
  • Hole punch
  • Jump rings
  • Earring wires

How To:

  1. Choose a Halloween paper punch or draw an image.
  2. Establish your base shape and assemble 3 layers. 2 layers of cardstock with your thin cardboard in between.
  3. Embellish as desired. Be sure to color your edges with marker to give it a more finished look.
  4. Seal everything (it's easiest to use a paintbrush for this) with your clear glue, adhesive or glossy accents.
  5. Punch a hole in the top of your earring, pop in your jump ring and ear wire, and you're done!
Plain and simple....kraft cardstock, ghost outlined in black, eyes and mouth drawn on.

Repurpose old beads and give the ghosts a little wiggly jiggle.

Witch's hats with some more repurposed jewelry to up the witchy grren a notch ;)

These are the ones I'm keeping! My googly eye stash has been growing so I put it to good use with this pair :)

Easy, right? Cute too, right? I told you :)

Now sport those adorable things like they're made of pure gold! Nobody has to know that you're a recycling, papercrafting diva in your spare time unless you want them to ;)

Here's a helpful video for making some eyeball earrings to get you started. Hectanooga1 has a lot of great ideas, so be sure to check out her youtube channel.

Do you dress up for Halloween and join in on the fun? What's your favorite crafted addition to your or your family's costumes?

HAPPY HAUNTING!!
